Indeed it is an exciting journey through time that Roger Jaffray , former long-distance captain, invites us to do.
This work is the fruit of the long and patient investigations of a conscientious archivist coupled with a talented investigator. It is also a tribute to the seafarers who forged the maritime history of these islands that remained unknown for a long time.
